THERE IS INHERENT VALUE IN LIFE
Emily challenges the idea that health and healing are commodities to be consumed.
She actively resists the pathologizing of people as they face challenges or meet opportunities for growth. She peoples that all people are whole and deserve to be understood as such.
Her clinical decision making is guided by the medical ethical principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-malfeasance, and justice.

ALL PEOPLE DESERVE CARE
Emily’s practice is in service of all beings. She believes that medicine should be accessible and affordable to all people. Her office is wheelchair accessible and she is committed to making your experience as comfortable as possible.

WE ARE ALL CONNECTED

GIVE MORE TO GET MORE
This is especially true of the product driven herbal supplement industry. Ethical issues include the quality of herbal material, the manufacturing process of prepared remedies, and the fair wages of workers throughout the supply chain. She investigates, to the best of her ability, how any recommended remedies were grown, harvested, prepared, formulated, packaged, and shipped.
Any inorganic materials used in the apothecary are carefully chosen to minimize ecological burden. She is committed to reducing exposure to toxic chemicals that tend to accumulate throughout the supply chain.
The herbal products she stocks and recommends are made from organic, non-genetically-modified (non-GMO), wild-crafted, regenerative, or biodynamic sources. She focuses on herbs and remedies that can be found in regional habitats, that grow in abundance, or grown sustainably on local farms or in nurseries. Her apothecary also includes key Ayurvedic and Chinese herbs from non-local sources.
